Rugs and carpets
Carpet and rug cleaning in Málaga at home
We assess the fibre, size and condition of your rug to decide whether we can carry out the service at your home. Not every rug can be cleaned in place: wool, silk or hand-knotted pieces may need a treatment that can't be done on a living-room floor.
We tell you from the photos, before we travel.

Fibres and what each allows
| Fibre | What it usually allows | What we avoid |
|---|---|---|
| Polypropylene, polyester, nylon | Extraction with controlled water | Saturating the backing |
| Wool | Gentle cleaning after testing, little water, long drying | Hot water and alkaline products: felting and shrinkage |
| Jute and plant fibres | Dry or very light cleaning only | Water: stains and distorts |
| Silk and hand-knotted | Individual assessment; often not at home | Any generic method |
| Long pile (shaggy) | Intensive vacuuming and light extraction | Rotating brushes that pull out the pile |

Frequently asked questions
Do you clean wool rugs at home?
It depends on the piece. After the colour test and depending on size, many wool rugs can be treated with little water and a long drying time; others are best left alone at home. We assess it from the photos.
How long does a rug take to dry?
It varies a lot with fibre, thickness and ventilation. We give specific guidance for your rug when we finish.
Can you clean fitted carpet?
Yes, in homes. We work in sections and plan the drying so the space is usable as soon as possible.
What if the rug's colours run?
The test on a corner detects it before we start. If they run, we don't continue with wet methods and suggest alternatives or not intervening.
Areas and how to book
Check your postcode and send us a photo of the whole rug, one of the underside and the approximate size. With that we can tell you whether it can be cleaned at home.
Check whether we cover your area
Enter your postcode. We'll tell you whether coverage is confirmed, whether we check it for your address, or whether it's currently outside our area.
Coverage is confirmed address by address. A municipality on the list does not guarantee travel to every part of it.
